I purchased balloons elsewhere and visited Michael’s to have them inflated. When I arrived at the counter, an employee was assisting another customer and called another associate over to help me. Since I had never used this service before, I simply asked what the cost would be. Unfortunately, the associate’s response and demeanor made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her by asking a basic question. She appeared annoyed from the moment she approached the register, which came across as rude and unwelcoming. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I even told her I could take my business elsewhere if she did not want to assist me. As someone who works in customer service, I understand that everyone has busy days, but providing courteous service is still important. Positive customer service seems increasingly difficult to find, and this experience was disappointing.

Very nice clean store with friendly staff. Prices are a bit on the high side.

Update: I’m updating my original review because I had a completely different experience during my most recent visit, and I think it deserves to be acknowledged. I had previously left a negative review based on many different issues. About a week later, I went into the store in person to return several items from that order because some of the items I received were incorrect. While I was browsing the store for a few other things, I happened to speak with an employee who turned out to be the new manager. She immediately apologized for the issues I experienced and genuinely seemed to care about making things right. She took the return items from me, walked them to the register herself, helped ring up the new items I picked out, and handled everything professionally and kindly while we talked. What really stood out to me was how she treated me throughout the interaction. She was patient, attentive, and extremely customer-focused. By the end of the transaction, she told me to have a great day — and then I realized she wasnt going to charge me for the new items I was going purchase. Whether as a gesture of goodwill or simply part of correcting the situation, I genuinely appreciated

I bought some balloons on pickup and asked for them to be inflated as it said to do on the website. I was going to get 8. I guess they had a big order because they said I would have to wait 40 minutes. I refunded my balloons and went to Kroger, who only took 5 minutes to get the entire order completed plus a birthday balloon.

Such an amazing place🤩!! It has everything you can possibly think of, ranging from crochet items to paints to diy materials to anything that you would need to do fun and creativity projects. Love this place!!!
